My Bio

Used to work animal rescue before getting too burned out to function. Plush making was my escape from the depressing reality and politics of shelter work. So when we moved to Japan and the local rescue no longer needed extra help dealing with the Tohoku disaster I decided it was time to turn my hobby into a business. My plush have come a long way since I first started making them and so have I. After several years in Japan and an attempt to live in the US again we have finally settled into the Netherlands where I am mom to an exhaustingly gifted three year old and try to keep up with plush making.

Moving sale!!

In case the year hasn't already been chaotic enough we are now moving back to the US! This was not part of the original plan and is happening on somewhat short notice, we leave Japan on August the 25th! The short version is that my husband lost his job a month before my due date and wasn't able to find a new job before Bowen was born, add to that his mom is not in the best health and will be going through at least two fairly major surgeries in the next few months to a year so we have decided that it would be for the best to move back to be near our parents so they can be around Bowen and to be there for his mom. We've been talking about movin
